# Delete your Twyn account

You can delete your Twyn account and its data at any time, in the app or by email. This page applies to the **Twyn AI – Call Assistant** app (Android package `assistant.twyn.ai`) by NeoBound AI.

**First, turn off call forwarding.** Twyn can't do this for you after your account is gone. In the app, open setup and turn forwarding off, or dial your carrier's cancel code (often `##004#`). Otherwise, calls you miss may still be forwarded to a Twyn number that no longer answers for you.

## 1. Delete in the app

1. Open Twyn and sign in.
2. Tap **You**.
3. Tap **Delete account** and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away and the app signs you out.

## 2. Delete by email

If you can't use the app, email [hi@twynai.pro](mailto:hi@twynai.pro) with the subject **"Delete my account"**, from or including the phone number on your account. To protect you, we'll verify the request, for example by asking for a one-second missed call from that number. We complete email deletions within 30 days, usually much sooner.

## 3. What we delete

- Your profile: name, mobile number and assistant settings.

- All your calls: **recordings, transcripts, summaries** and urgency flags, and the callers' numbers and display names linked to them.

- Your forwarding and routing setup on our side.

- Your credit balance and push-notification token. Unused credits are lost and can't be restored.

Data is removed from our live systems immediately and from backups within 30 days.

## 4. What we keep, and for how long

- **A salted hash of your device's Android ID and minimal referral records**, for up to 12 months, so the same device or number can't claim sign-up or referral credits again. A hash can't be turned back into the ID.

- **Server and security logs**, for about 90 days, then deleted.

- **Aggregated analytics** that no longer identify you.

- Anything we must keep by law, or to deal with fraud, abuse, a dispute or a valid legal request, only for as long as needed.

## 5. Delete some data without deleting your account

You can delete individual calls in the app, or email [hi@twynai.pro](mailto:hi@twynai.pro) to ask us to delete specific recordings, transcripts or other data.

## 6. Called someone who uses Twyn?

If you called a Twyn user and want your call data deleted, email [hi@twynai.pro](mailto:hi@twynai.pro) with your phone number and the approximate date and time of the call. See the [Privacy Policy](https://twynai.pro/privacy/#callers).
