Terms of Service

Last updated October 23, 2026 · Twyn AI – Call Assistant by NeoBound AI

The short version

  • Twyn answers calls you can't take, after you forward them from your carrier. You must be 18 or older.
  • Your carrier may charge you for forwarded calls. Check your plan.
  • You're responsible for telling callers, where the law requires, that an AI assistant may answer and record their call.
  • AI summaries can be wrong. Twyn is not for emergencies and can't contact emergency services.
  • Twyn is free during beta. Credits are free minutes with no cash value.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and NeoBound AI ("we", "us") for using the Twyn AI – Call Assistant app, the twynai.pro website and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who can use Twyn

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
  • You must use a mobile number that is yours, or that you're authorised to manage, and verify it as the app asks.
  • The Service is launching in India first. We may make it available in other countries over time; using it where it isn't offered is at your own risk.
  • One person, one account. Accounts are personal and can't be transferred.

2. What the Service does

When you can't take a call, your carrier forwards it to a Twyn number using conditional call forwarding (busy, unanswered or unreachable), which you turn on. The app works as Android's call screening app so calls you can't take are declined on your phone and forwarded. A Twyn AI voice assistant answers, talks with the caller, and sends you a summary, a transcript and an urgency flag. Calls flagged urgent trigger a full-screen alert.

Features may change as we improve the Service, especially during beta. We may add, change or remove features, and we'll tell you about changes that significantly affect you.

3. Call forwarding and your carrier

  • Call forwarding is a service of your mobile carrier, not of Twyn. Your carrier may charge you for forwarded calls, and some plans or prepaid packs don't support forwarding. You're responsible for those charges.
  • Whether a call is forwarded depends on your carrier and network. We can't guarantee every call will reach your assistant.
  • If you stop using Twyn or delete your account, turn off call forwarding first (in the app, or by dialling your carrier's cancel code, often ##004#). Otherwise calls you miss may be forwarded to a number that no longer answers for you.

4. Your responsibilities to callers

People who call you are not parties to these Terms. When you use Twyn:

  • The assistant identifies itself as an assistant, but you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to recording and processing your callers' calls, including telling callers and getting their consent where required. These rules differ by country and, in the US, by state (some require every party's consent).
  • You'll use callers' recordings, transcripts and summaries only for your own legitimate purposes, and handle them lawfully.
  • You'll set up your assistant's greeting and instructions honestly and not make it mislead callers about who they're talking to.

5. AI output and limitations

  • Transcripts, summaries, urgency flags and the assistant's replies are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. An urgent call may not be flagged, and a non-urgent call may be. Check the transcript or recording for anything important.
  • The assistant takes messages and passes on information you've set up. It can't make commitments, payments or decisions for you, and you shouldn't configure it to give medical, legal or financial advice.
  • Don't rely on Twyn as your only way of receiving time-critical calls.

Not for emergencies. Twyn can't call or connect anyone to emergency services, and an urgent alert is not a guarantee you'll be notified. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in India, 911 in the US, 999 in the UK, 000 in Australia, 995 in Singapore) from a phone.

6. Price, beta and credits

  • The Service is free during beta. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you the price and terms before you're charged, and paid plans will be sold through Google Play.
  • We may give you free assistant minutes ("credits"), for example when you sign up or when friends you invite join. The amounts and rules are shown in the app and may change.
  • Credits have no cash value, can't be sold, transferred, exchanged or refunded, and may expire.
  • Abuse of credits or referrals (including multiple accounts, multiple devices, fake or self-referrals, or automated sign-ups) voids the credits involved, and we may suspend the accounts concerned.
  • See Refunds & Credits.

7. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: use Twyn only for calls to numbers you own or manage, lawfully, and never to harass, deceive or harm anyone.

8. Your content

You own your settings, your instructions to the assistant, and (as between you and us) the recordings, transcripts and summaries of your calls ("Your Content"). You give us a limited licence to host, process and transmit Your Content only to provide, secure and support the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the rights needed for us to process Your Content, including any callers' consent required by law.

9. Our property

The app, website, Twyn name, logo and assistant voices are owned by NeoBound AI or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on your Android device for your own use under these Terms. Don't copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell the Service except as the law allows.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on your carrier, Google Play, Android, and the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. Their own terms apply to your use of their services, and we're not responsible for them.

11. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Twyn and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access, with notice where practical, if you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if we must for legal reasons, or if we stop offering the Service (in which case we'll give reasonable notice). Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 8, 12, 13, 14 and 15) survive termination.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is in beta and is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI output and uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, NeoBound AI won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, missed opportunities or missed calls, arising from the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 1,000 (or the equivalent in your local currency). These limits don't apply to liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

14. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you'll compensate NeoBound AI for claims by third parties (including your callers) arising from your breach of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or the law, including recording or consent laws.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Gurugram, Haryana, India, have jurisdiction, except that if you're a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring claims in your local courts. Before going to court, please contact us at hi@twynai.pro so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, tell you in the app at least 15 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply.
